Painted Calipers... rim paint?

I painted the stock calipers today. I think it adds a nice touch.. tell me what you think.

I was thinking about painting the rims black. What do you guys think about that?

I'm planning on doing gold calipers on my black car, which has silver wheels.

i found some caliper cleaner at pep boys that took the break dust off nicely. the metal didnt rust too bad on the calips. what do you think about black rims on my car?

Black might look cool, or it might look goofy. I personally would keep them silver on the silver car, or gold. Black might contrast a little funny.

Looks good, go with like a darker gunmetal though, not fully black. And not to hijack your thread, but I'm picking up a set of 15's tomorrow and plan on painting them, any color suggestions? Thinking anything but gold just to do something different.

looks nice, i would have painted them gloss black though. i think your rims would look great if you painted them bronze.

Paint them black :lol: Too many colors is no bueno.

I like the gunmetal. I would also like to see a bigger overall shot, and more details on that brake dust remover stuff.

Here in Canada we have some caliper paint kit from Duplicolor, I really think Duplicolor is in USA too. The kit include: ceramic base paint, brush and tape (who cares?) and a spray can of brake cleaning stuff. The stuff removes all kind of grease and sh#t. My calipers where kinda rustly but I sand them down to remove most of crap and clean them with the magic stuff. The result couldn't have been better IMO.
