Howdy all, my name is Stephen and I am currently with my wife in Misawa Japan.

I recently picked up my white rabbit, a 2000 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon, Twin turbo, McIntosh integrated system, tiptronic style transmission.

This is my first Subaru so I will have a lot of questions. I come from a VW background so I am use to expensive repairs and parts, tho I think it will be a bit cheaper here in Japan.

Thanks! I'm wanting to keep it clean, no off roasting for me, projects now is to de-rice it. Take off the stupid blue LEDs and under glow lights in the grill and the "carbon fiber" sticker stuff on the hood.

Btw how do I get the vent off or loosened so I can get that sticker stuff off? Also, are there pins behind the "Subaru" and "GT" logos on the back?

After that, it's full detail time including clay bar and wax.

The GT one on the rear should have pins, the Subaru one does not.

The scoop on the hood should just unbolt from the underside of the hood you'll have to remove the black heat guard on the hood to get to the bolts
