I'm in the middle of building my engine for my 97 legacy, I'm planning to do a 205 block, Sti rods, acl race bearings, 25d heads, 06 Wrx intercooler and tdo4 turbo, 565 sti injectors, 97 legacy ecu with aem fic piggyback, hks full exhaust. I'm planning to go fmic, a gt28 and ewg later. I been doing my searches around and I read a lot of turbo builds from a lot of people. Few things I wanna ask, should i port match my intake and exhaust and get different cams? Been a 2.0 Idk the 2.5 cams and opening the intake and exhaust will be too much, and opinions about the pistons, should i use the 205 ones or should i upgrade? And because when I did my tranny swap I used a cable type setup than hydraulic because the tranny I could find was cable, can I swap everything to hydraulic without getting a new transmission or no? Thanks
