So to start off I tell my story of why I'm here. My first Subaru wasn't a Legacy but a 1995 Impreza L sedan 1.8 liter. I bought it in the summer of 2010 with 101k, manuel tranny completely rust free and ice cold ac for 1900 bucks. After the winter I fell in love with my Subaru, never having to worry about shitty weather even without snow tires (and still getting around 26 mpg) Two and a half years later and after taking it to my mechanic to find out about an oil leak I found out that it would need new head gaskets. Realizing it wasn't a good idea to dump more money than the car is worth in repairs, I decided to cut my losses and look for a newer Subaru (with a man. tranny of course). A couple of weeks later and I found a 2001 Legacy L wagon with 182k, recently replaced head gaskets, and the right side quarter panel starting to bubble with rust (the under body is in good shape though) for three grand. Although I enjoyed my impreza the extra leg room in the legacy is very enjoyable, so my next car/wagon will be another legacy. I was on NASIOC while I owned the impreza, but decided to look for a legacy specific forum and joined in March, I just never bothered to properly introduce myself.

Good ole Worcester! My wife works at WPI, and I go to Sams Pick-a-part about once a month or so. Nice to have some more members in the area. Welcome to the site!
