Just a thought. I have a EJ22T short block with stock crank, rods, bearings and block coupled with .40 over forged pistons that's just sitting around.
How much power do you guys think I could get out of this block without it blowing up immediately? I figure cammed DOHC heads, big turbo (FP Red, GT35R, GT42, etc.) AEM standalone, 850cc or 1000cc injectors, and quite a bit of boost. Does anyone think this engine with mostly OEM internals could put almost if not a little bit more than 500 horsepower down to the ground? Or is that number strictly EJ257 territory?
