...Is actually my Mom's new whip, Bought from a guy in Pennsylvania who works on Subarus, he replaced a lot of parts but almost as soon as we got it home it started breaking down :smt013

CELp0440 came on, while driving it home.
upper rad hose burst on the 3rd day owning it
something in the rear brake drums came lose and sounded/smelled gnarly
the hatch LEAKS
etc..

So we've had it at the shop for a week getting slowly fixed, mostly the reason I haven't made a ride thread until now. Hope we didn't get a salvage car.

3rd gen Outback rims
Red calipers and drums....

It's going to be Mom's new DD hopefully so it'll probably get cosmetic pieces more than anything.

Looks like there is NO RUST! That makes me happy!

It probably just needs a little TLC. I'm sure she will become reliable over time.

All the rust was taken care of by the previous owner, Pennsylvania is more strict with body rot. You can have a rust hole but it has to be less than the size of a quarter, NY doesn't care as long as the frame doesn't have a hole or a crack. I've found trace evidence of fiberglass in the rear quarters so we'll see how much is metal vs bondo and fiberglass :smt011

So this has been on the selling block a few times, then mom was going to sell her van and drive this, but now my brothers home and he's been driving it so I guess it's his now. Not really sure what direction it's going to take but he wants to lower it slightly and add some JDM exterior parts on it. It really hasn't changed much other from the pictures in the first post lol
