Just had a thought, but with strut spacers so readily available would it work to install spacers along with coilovers to give the option of raising the car up for winter or whatever and lowering in the summer without swapping out the suspension and having the camber/dampening adjustability.
...this is what i'm thinking about when I'm supposed to be working, lol.

Heres what i would do. Mark/take pics of the setting on your strut setup so on winter time you could always return it back. Remember where the eccentric bolt go.
Same thing with the coilover setup. Mostlikely the front have an adjustable tophat and save the setting. It will save you money
Or have 2 different settings on your coilover and have the alignment marks for both setting

i run coilovers in summer and raise it back up on stock for winter, yes it does require work but you get to enjoy your car in both ways. For alignment i paid 150 to firestone and have it for the life of the car.

+1 for firestones lifetime alignment... saved me a TON of money over the years.
Also, you might look at Ground Control... You can even call them and go over what you want to do and they will tell you exactly what set up to get in what specs.
I will be doing this eventually on either the WRX or the FXT.

lifetime alignment sounds like a bargain for $150! Is that for any car you own or just one? I'mnot sure if there are any firestone shops near to me, i dont recall noticing any. Swapping suspension sounds like a hassle, but i suppose when you do it twice a year everything comes apart quick n easy!

You'd think that, but I've had my car apart 5 times since Feb. and the last time about 6 weeks ago the rear struts were a complete bitch to get the lower bolts out. I should have done a better job on cleaning out the holes in the knuckle, and used some anti-sieze in there. Oh well, it'll be coming apart again in a few weeks so maybe I'll remember it then.

takes me about 3 hours to do all four, in my driveway only power tool i have is electric impact gun from autozone. You get used to it after a while.
and yes 150 for one car if you plan on keeping it more than 2 years its worth it
