So last week after searching for a couple of months I finally was able to find a clean, low-mileage 2nd Gen Legacy Wagon.

Subarus are common here in NH but not rust free (or low mileage ones). 90% of the time they've got over 200K with the rear quarters rotted out.

I wanted a Subaru wagon because I needed something AWD with a lot of cargo space and I Gen 2 Legacy is one of my all time favorite Subaru body style.

It's kind of boring right now but I'm a car guy and this is joining my stable of highly modified cars, I also have a 1997 Nissan 240sx that I'm dropping a V8 into (I've done this once before so this is my 2nd go-round).

My new 240sx:

I also own a 1989 Toyota Pickup that currently enjoys 7" of lift and 35" mud tires.

This isn't my first Subaru, I used to own a 2002 MBP WRX and I was one of the first people setup and running Cobb Stage 2.5.

Outside of cars I'm big into video games, and I'm also into arcade machines. I used to work as an arcade tech, I currently have a few machines in my home. I also collect rare and limited edition games and run a website dedicated to information about video game CEs: http://collectorsedition.org

---------------

For the Subaru, right now it needs a few things: new tires, a power steering pump and timing belt. In the spring I'd like to do a 5-speed conversion, maybe drop a turbo motor in there if I can find one cheap enough.

Outside of that I'd love to put the GTB front end on it, I love that bumper and light setup, so I'm currently on the hunt for one since I would imagine they're quite difficult to source.

So that's my story, I'm sure I'll learn a lot from these forums and I look forward to contributing as well :)

Thanks.

I'm up in Tilton. It's about a 20 minute drive north of Concord.

it is indeed... sadly I spend so much time just keeping that thing running that I haven't had any time to spend on actual upgrades. I've been debating selling it. I love the truck but it's ultimately not very useful and mostly just collects dust. :-/
