Currently having braking issues on a 95 Impreza. Just did WRX calipers with new rotors and slider pins. Along with a rear disc brake conversion. The problem I am having was happening on the stock brakes with the single pot fronts and drum rears. But however is still continuing even after the brake upgrades.

Done multiple bleeds. When the car is off the pedal will firm up when you pump it a few times. When the car is running it will sink to the floor. Brakes still work...But very mushy. No leaking issues from the master cylinder that I can see. Suggestions?

Check ur abs pump. That's where mine was bleeding from.

Also I've know for subies to have soft brake pedals

This pedal is extremely soft. Owned 4 so far and never had this issue. It's a Non ABS System

Replaced the MC today with an upgraded bore. No change. When I crack open the bleeder screws on the front calipers there is about a 1 second delay when the fluid starts coming out when bleeding. The rears are fine when I bleed them but no matter what the fronts have that delay.

Proportioning valve? Or the brake booster or the hose that goes to the booster/manifold, maybe the check valve is bad

Are your levels in the MC reservoir consistent or do they drop as you press the pedals (with the bleeder valves closed of course)?

That would be the easiest way to determine if there was a leak. The delay suggests that it's more likely something stuck in the booster or the proportioning valve as r3v_v3ng3 suggested.
