So, I have owned my LGT for awhile now. I have began to realize that the temp gauge begins to rise very quickly. After only 3 Minutes of driving, the car's gauge is already at a little over halfway. This happens whether I begin to drive while the temp is all the way a cold, and if I let it warm up for a couple of minutes. It never has gone above a certain point, and it never rapidly spikes. Just trying to get some ideas of what it could be.
Thanks, Matt.

Nothing, that's perfectly normal. Seriously.

I noticed this with my '99 Wagon. Over the life of the car it would seem to warm up faster and faster. I would say your good. I went through the entire coolant system. I think it was really all in my head. lol

It is good. After driving VW's for a while I was shocked at how long it takes to warm up myself. I think it may have a lot to do with the boxer design of coolant flow. My cooling system is 100% new within the past year as well.

That sounds about right. My car is warm by the time I get on the freeway going to church and it's about 5 minutes to the on ramp.

Thats on a 98 LGT 2.5... stock

My old BH GT did the same, as well as my H6. Even my GT-B. LOL
