03 to 02 Bumper

Hey guys, Got my car at the body shop right now fixing a few dings, and I am just trying to figure out if I can swap an 03 Legacy bumper to an 02 leggy wagon.
Just not sure if the 02 bumper beam / brackets / supports will configure to the 03 bumper. I know I have seen Outback bumpers swapped to Legacys so Im hoping the same will be for the newer style.

The corner support brackets are the same, as they have the same part number. I have not looked up the beam, but I believe it is the same as well.

As far as I am aware, all 3rd gen bumpers are completely interchangeable with other 3rd gen bumpers. This goes for JDM bumpers as well, the only difference being you have to remove a piece of styrofoam from the US bumper beam, which isn't attached to the beam with anything but the pressure of the bumper in front of it.

So the parts guy at the dealer is telling me they are different part #s for the beam / support, but talking to the body shop it should swap over, so I'm ordering it and hoping for the best.
