I know the narrators voice.. I think it is the same guy who did the narration for Iron Chef Japan..

I find it amusing that they gave some of the drivers southern accents.

Yes I agree with thom on this one. Subtitles is indeed where it's at. I even watch English shows/ movies with subtitles.
