Timing belt kits 1999 EJ206

Hi guys I need some advice.
Im about to install a new engine in 1999 GT wagon.
Should I replace timing belt and water pump . Engine has 91000 kms.
If so what is a good kit to get.

The EJ206 is very similar to the USDM WRX EJ205

The timing belt, idlers and tensioner will all be the same.

The timing belt itself is the same across all DOHC EJ motors..

If your looking to upgrade you can pickup a gates kit.

The only real issue if figuring out which water pump has been installed. From my research its the same as the 02 USDM WRX.

So that being said you can purchase:

TCKWP328A

or

TCKWP328ARB (race belt)

T = Timing Belt
CK = Component Kit
WP = Water Pump
328 = Engine type
A = Model Revision.

Gates offeres:
- TCKWP328 = 06+ WRX | 04+ STi
- TCKWP328A = 02-04 WRX
- TCKWP328B = 05 WRX
- TCKWP***RB = Race Belt Application (Blue Belt)

Double check my info as always but you should be good to go.
