Happy 2014! What a better way to end 2013 than with a heck of a competition among five of our favorite non-Legacies here on SL-i. A very well deserved congratulations to YamazakiSubaru for winning December's five-contestant ROTM! The race was tight for most of the month, and for awhile there it looked like it might be a tie, buy YamazakiSubaru pulled ahead at the end.

Let's get on to the first ROTM competition of the new year. Who will it be competing this month? It's up to you, as always!

Here are 4 simple rules before you nominate someone (and yes, you can nominate yourself). Please read over the entire rule list. [LINK] (https://sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=24958&p=295563#p295563)

1) ROTM is open to all active members with a MR1 thread.
2) Must be a Legacy, Outback, or Baja.
3) No nominating a car that has won within the past 12 months. A winning user may compete again with a different car.
4) No nominating a car that participated in a voting round within the past 3 months. If the car was nominated but not chosen to compete, it may be re-submitted this month.

View the full set of rules here (https://sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=24958&p=295563#p295563). The rules listed above are the most important to take note of before submitting.

When submitting, choose the best full car picture you think best represents the nominated car. Remember, this will be the competing photo, unless the owner of the car themselves requests a different photo. In addition to a photo, include a link to the MR1 thread.

Nominations end Friday, January 10th, 2014 at 11:59pm PST. That gives you 6 days to make a decision on who you would like to nominate. After that, we will choose the three best contenders for a tight race. We are not just taking the first three submissions, we are taking the cars we think will put up a good fight against each other, so even if you are the 30th nomination, you still have a chance.

Do we have 3 super charged cars on the forum? That might be interesting.

That'd be a sweet competition!

In the mean time, here's Soba Noodle's 2001 GT-B. Not supercharged but it does have two more turbos than my BH has. It's such a clean car and I'm in love with the colour.

Granny's 97 LEGASTi Wagon in ralley blue gets my interest because of all of the hard work involved and the beauty of it all in second gen form.

I want to nominate you and your ralley blue leggy for january ROTM. Just awesome in every way this car is. Great work man!

Let me help ya out... Best way to nominate someone, grab a pic (the one that will make it look good), the build thread link, and post the name. This makes life much easier for Mike when he puts the voting together for us. :smt023
