Catback exhaust on a legacy

Hey guys, got a quick question. Im in a time crunch but I have a 2001 Legacy wagon. I want to buy a 98-01 impreza catback and fit it on my lagecy. Will it fit pretty close or will I need to cut and weld a lot?

yeah it'll fit but the pipe that goes from the cat to the axle back will need to be extended a few inches. Other than that you're good to go, brother! What exhaust are you getting?

I found an awesome deal on a japan import 2.5" catback and I couldn't pass it up. After I get it welded up I will be sure to get a sound clip up!

Nice man. Good luck with it, is it a single or twin tip? post it up when you get it all done, I'd love to see it. I'm still in the planning stages of my exhaust.

I'm not sure how the different rear suspension will affect the muffler's location or pipe bend, but it would probably fit with modification.

from what i know its will fit but need to extended a bit to clear the rear bumper so it doesnt burnt it
