Hello SLi!
My name is Marcus and I greet you from Saskatchewan Canada! I had planned on lurking SLi for longer before registering but came across a build thread I felt I had to post to so here we are.
My Subaru obsession started with a 2008 WRX hatch in WRB (Gallery can be found here (http://imgur.com/a/DTzcU)) which I had to sell :(. I picked up a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V (https://plus.google.com/photos/106639975163308709275/albums/5920334290549353073?authkey=CN3JtNuI4N2o2wE%20) which I also needed to sell shortly after.
Now I have returned to the Subaru world with a 1997 Rio Red LGT! Sadly the only picture I have of it is my Avatar because it is tucked away in my garage (and dirty :roll: ) and it is bleeding cold outside. So I must need be patient and wait for warmer weather before I can get to work on it. I purchased it off a lad who did not seem mechanically inclined and the motor is shot. I walked away with it for $900 CDN, a great deal in my opinion as the body is in fantastic condition.
That's my car history so now a little bit about me. I am a 28 year old single chap who loves cars, technology, and schenanigans. I work as a programmer for a local telecommunications company, the job is pretty good and it funds the toys which is the most important. I am currently on a leave from work as my health is less than ideal due to my medical condition - Crohn's. I try to be as open about it as I can because it saves explaining why I run away mid-conversation haha (My bowels wait for nothing). It's a shitty disease (pun intended), but I manage well with it. I appear to be on a positive turn around with my health so hopefully I can return to work soon and hope I will be healthy enough to travel this year. I would love to drive through 'Murica with my final destination being California as I have some friend folk there I would like to visit. We'll see.
Pictures of my car, my garage, my house, and myself will come as weather permits. Damn cold....
