JDM Projector lens size?

I have searched all over for info on the stock jdm projector lens size. And with no avail I am posting here.

I am going to be going with a P&P HID kit but would like to upgrade to a clear lens. TRS has 2 size options available, 2.5" and 3". What ones should I get?

I tried to measure it outside the headlight housing and it looks like a 3"

I think 3" too. it might be listed in diy retrofit thread somewhere?

Thanks for the help. I searched high and low and even asked a local guy how has retro'd a few and he also said "I think they are 3". So I guess I will just have to wait until mine show up to open and measure.

Now the next question is what lens do go with?

not to be "that guy", but dont forget to modify the cutoff shield for LHD.

HeresMyMind has done a shit ton of retrofits for these cars and others, he might know.

I just did the TRS FXR Bi-Xenon Stage 3 kit on my 96 legacy with JDM projectors. 3" are what you want. Select no shrouds on the shroud selection, you can't use them. I took tons of pics of the retrofit.
