Had some questions that after many threads of searching were really answered.
What is the best place to tap into for the turbo oil supply?
I was reading a post on rs25 for my specific application (ej22e map) and it states I need a voltage clamp and 12:1 fmu (already read anothernord saying its not needed but that was for ej25d mad). Found the fmu but it needs a vacuum source?
Also where can I find a voltage clamp. Saw someone using one from split second but they're not on eBay.
Any advice is appreciated. Help me get boost until I do the full engine swap

What motor are you using? Aka, what heads do you need to tap?

Oh, can't help you then, I only know how to do it on the DOHC 25D heads

If you're running the ej22e then all the stuff about voltage clamps and stuff doesn't really matter, that particular thread is directed at the ej222 (phase 2) cars. Turboing an ej22e car will follow the same guidelines as an ej25d because their electronics are damn near identical.
For an oil feed you can get this http://prosportgauges.com/subaru-oil-galley-plug.aspx
And run a line to the turbo, and put a drain into the valve cover or oil pan.

That's true for phase 1 ej222, I have a phase 2 which has map instead of maf The voltage clamp are to trick the ecu into thinking the map sensor hasn't noticed the boost so if the engine has map instead of maf than you need a voltage clamp.
I've also heard that you need a fmu and that its not necessary. I'm only planning to run 5 psi of boost on a vf11. I have an sti fuel pump that I'll be installing

Ok you're on the right path then, I wasn't sure what year car you were dealing with.

for 5psi you don't need an FMU, provided you're using an intercooler and preferably 1-step colder plugs.
This is due to the lower compression ratio of the 2.2 in comparison with the 2.5D.
Voltage clamp is a nice thing to have for sure, you'll find that after hard boost and clutching in, or coming to a stop the car will just die - not fun haha.

His car is phase 2 ej22, not phase 1, his compression ratio is 10:1.

Oh? Word - sorry I didn't read through the thread completely.
In that case a bump in fuel pressure would be a good idea. Maybe 8:1? I don't think you'll need 12:1 if you do the above ^^

I've read of others just using the oil pressure sensor location using a T fitting. In regards to oil return either tap the valve cover or spend $45 and get a turbo one and not worry (as much) about oil leaks.

Thats what I ended up doing with mine. 22e MAF based. Blew one of my headgaskets withing a few thousand miles though
