Ugh...tight road, ended up clipping my sideview mirror on a tree branch. Anyway, mirror is in a hundred pieces (literally), but the good news is everything else is working (plastic backing etc.).
Anyway, I need a sideview mirror replacement glass quick, on ebay I only see one for BE-BH Outbacks, would this work with a normal BE Sedan?
Does the dealership sell replacement glass only or do I have to bend over and fork over $$$ for the whole housing  .
Thanks guys!

The dealer can probably only get you the whole housing, but a local auto glass shop should be able to cut you a mirror glass, if they don't have the right one in stock. At least I've had a local shop do it for me before. I just had to make a template for them to use to cut a blank.
I don't know if the Outbacks use the same glass or not, but I wouldn't be suprised if it was the same, at least for any given model year.

I can't imagine the mirrors would be different. Normally ebay ads will include outback even if the part isn't for an outback, but so that people searching will find it no matter their legacy.
Could be a junkyard item too, although I imagine there aren't too many of the 2000+ model legs in a junkyard

Thanks a lot guys, the glass shop is a brilliant idea, I'll hit them up first to see.
Doesn't the passenger side mirror have some sort of convex thing ("object closer than they appear")? Would that really matter or no?

Update:
I just checked with the dealership. Subaru sells just the glass portion for $18  . Looks like I won't even need to do any scouring (online and off) after al.
