Hey everyone,

I'm hoaping to get this switch wired up this week sometime; throw in an interuptor switch with relay, etc.
The only thing i am wondering, is does anyone know the wires colors for the fuel pump running across the bottom of the door?
It's for a 96 leggy gtb.

Cheers

Could'nt you just do it by the wiring on the fuel pump assembly. That way you could act like you need something in the trunk/hatch while you disable the pump and do the same when you return. You can find the wiring diagram by downloading the fsm on this site

You could also just do one on the starter wire under the steering wheel. If you did it far enough back the added wires to the switch wouldn't be seen.

If I recall, the fuel pump power wire is the big black/red stripe wire running into the big 8-pin plug by the passenger's right foot behind the trim piece.

However, I wouldn't switch that wire to control your pump; it would definitely be better to switch the ground of the relay on and off to control the pump.

i'm not intersted in crawling into the trunk everytime to flip a switch, so that's out of the question, as is the starter in lieu, as it's a 5 spd and can still be bump/push started.

As for not running a relay to the black with red tracer wire, can i ask why you wouldn't recommend?
I was hoping to just throw a relay and switch interupted to that wire?
Adverse affects? Recommendations as to where else/what else?

Cheers
