Like it says
Picked up a 96 outback for daily duty today.

2.2, 5 speed, 120k miles.
Good condition inside.
Decent outside.
Supposedly new clutch, feels new
new seals. Rear main, seperator plate, valve cover gaskets.
New timing belt.

It has a few quirks I'd like to get worked out.
The rear passenger window won't roll down from the drivers switch panel. I'm sure that is just some kind of short but I thought If it was some common problem it would be worth asking..
The Locks don't seem to be working right..

Transmission seems notchy.. Nothing like the 3rd gen I had.

Other than that It just needs some exterior love and lowering imo...
O, and a stereo LOL.

Anyways
Just thought I'd stop by and say hi.
I'll try to get some pictures up in the next couple days. It really needs a wash and good vacuum job. Previous owners had dogs in the back and there are a few.... stray hairs.

^^Thanks! :D

Was planning to get some stuff done and post a couple pics yesterday.
Went and picked up a decent/cheap head unit and put it in. popped off that ugly ass rear 'dust deflector' and shot some fresh, flat black paint on it. By the time I was done with the head unit the weather went from beautiful to arctic. So no more progress.

I'm gonna try to spray my wiper arms today, Maybe go to a pay and spray and at least get a little clean on the car.

If I can stand the weather I'm gonna attempt to get the heat gun out and get the vinyl off the side. Not a fan of the outback 'stripes' that are all chunked up.

I need to do something about wheels and tires.
I got the car with a damn near new set of blizzaks on it and don't really want to ride it like that.
Next money I spend ont he car is gonna be on wheels/tires.

I do have a legit question.
Is there any way to speed the front wiper motor up? Seems kind of slow on its fastest setting... Maybe a third gen motor or something.
I'll search some more later. Right now, no real time.

Anyways, Thanks again
