98 Legacy GT Limited Parts compatibility

So this last Monday I traded my 96 Integra GSR for a 98 Legacy GT Limited. I started searching the web looking for parts and found there isn't much made specifically for the Legacy. However I am sure there are other cars you can get parts from that will work. That is where I was hoping all of you could help me out. I will be looking to upgrade suspension, some performance upgrades, exhaust, or anything else you guys can point me towards. All info is greatly appreciated.

Took me a bit of research to figure it out.... Had to hack into the mainframe's source code... and other matrixesque pseudocomputery stuff.

I don't like the search. Sorry. I tried and didn't like the way it laid the search results out. That's actually not what I was looking for anyways. I am talking about parts from other models that can be put on a Legacy to modify or add performance. Like the Neon coil pack upgrade. Or what model to get parts off of to lower the car. Or which strut bars would work. Thanks for the info though.

If you look in that forum (Swaps & conversions) you will find stickies that explain much of what you just asked.

For suspension, GD Impreza (02-07) is what you'd be looking for for BD/BK/BG Legacy (95-99).

For engines, any similar year model across the board is going to be configured about the same (99 was a weird year with the EJ22 and EJ25 changing).

Honestly, unless you're going to ask a specific question, please just start reading the stickies in each tech forum, you'll get a good starting point there.

This is what you need to do. We have so much info on this forum, just taking the time to read is a start. You can also read up on members rides and see what they have done also. Most have listed what they have done in the mods list.

Yeah, the search function is kinda weak. What I do is go to a regular search engine (google, startpage, etc) and type in [site:https://sl-i.net/FORUM/] after the search term (with a space in between the search term and the word 'site').
