Hi there

I´ve had this car for about a year now, but it went into storage a month after i bought it last year
they use so much salt on the roads here that i could not bring myself to use it over the winter :oops:
i am the second owner and it has done just about 120.000 miles (break-in just completed)

The mod list is not very long at the moment, but getting longer every day :grin:

added a dome light with delay and led bulbs

lowered about a quarter-mile

i have a leather steering wheel, and a few other little things waiting to go in

long term plans include a ez30r swap and endless small things :)

Custom homemade Shifter is complete, new 4.11 diff is in and the gearbox is ready to go in, now i need to figure out the wiring :smt026

Got the last of my dash pieces and changed all the bulbs in the cluster,
also did swap the speedometer into the manual dash to keep the "milage" correct,
and lowered the front another 1,5" so it sits even now :smt007

Soooo, i cracked a brakeline tonight, made for a "interesting" drive home :lol:

Yeeeeeeessss, drums are for Fags. Upgrade the fronts too, as fronts will be 260mm, but the smallest rear rotors are 266! You'll get what blighter has, smaller fronts than rears. Front upgrade is easy, just a caliper and rotor swap.

and i already have my eyes on some Wrx 4pots for the front :)

Funny enough, it actually doesn't affect it too badly. bias is still well to the front, just not as much as with a normal setup, so you can step the arse out under braking if you want/aren't careful.

Beautiful. First gen perfection. Love how you're both rocking the non-turbs too. In nz here there's far far far too much a culture of, "if it's not turbo, it's a worthless pile", which I whole heartedly reject. All subies are worthy, all subies can be made awesome. Keep it up!

Mean, what a beautiful trip. And impressive turnout! Biggest meet I've ever seen in nz was about 25 cars, and that was a national meet! The Auckland meets never topped 15 subies... Community here is too busy infighting, and having rifts between the track cars, the riced cars, and the resto'd cars

you could call this a national meet, it was held during a week simply called "cardays" in Akureyri, the capital of the northern region.
every garage project in the country simple revolves around this week, everybody tries to be ready in time for cardays.

i leave my car with my friends for 5 seconds and racing stripes appear :lol:

thank you so much ! i have gone through about 5 1.gens and was always looking for the right one for me, this one is defiantly the one :)

oh and the headlightcovers and hoodstripe are gone but the Speedlines are staying :cool:

ok so i´ve been thinking that the EJ20 in the car might be a litle sick, rough running and bad smell out the back.
decided to compression test yesterday

1 = 190 psi
2 = 120 psi
3 = 170 psi
4 = 70 psi

yes my baby is sick :(
might be the perfect chance to stick the H6 in ?
