I'm the proud owner of a USDM RHD subaru legacy L AWD wagon. It was made for delivering mail, and after 180,000 miles of doing so, a new engine from a '94 (at around 80k), tranny and rear differential, it has come to sit in my driveway. I just had a few questions regarding the RHD-ness of the subaru community.
What are the main differences between a USDM RHD car and a USDM LHD car?
Will I be able to use an Auto Zone manual for legacys to do regular maintenance (spark plugs, air filter, ETC)
Will shops charge more for big jobs (typically) for bigger jobs?
also
If you own a car that is not "normal" to your area (LHD/RHD)... What is wierder for you, driving it, or being a passanger in it?
I personally find it quite strange to be a passanger in an RHD car. Driving my car is fine, driving is a pretty natural thing for me, and I try to stay pretty focused on the road, but when i'm just sitting there I find myself looking around wondering why i'm on the wrong side.
Thanks!
