I found this picture in an old Road and Track from 2000, in an article covering the Tokyo Auto Show.

And I cannot find a single shred of info online about it. I can tell that something's up with the magazine's info, because I don't think Subaru ever made a 2.5 H6, or a turbo H6. But does anyone know anything about this absurdly pretty Legacy?

I remember reading about this car. They made an Elektra on the Impreza body too.

Why they have a 2.5L H6 is odd though, like they sleeved the cylinders to make the displacement smaller...I think it's a typo because the Impreza Elektra was a 2.5L stroked H4 engine.

The Electra One Concept eventually became the S201 after some tweeks.

I think that Car and Driver had Porsche on the brain when they wrote that it was a "flat 6" because everything I can find makes it sound like a 2.5L H4.

Not sure how I feel about the Impreza... I did notice that the scoop on the Legacy looked the same as the S401 though.
