The clips on my bug deflector came off and the protector tape underneath them came off as well, what is a good type of tape i could put underneath the deflector clips that will not ruin the paint job? (Preferably household tapes...duct, scotch, electric, ect...)

Painter's tape/scotch tape. Its designed not to leave residue. Electrical tape won't stay stuck, and I am not sure what duck tape would do, either with residue or the other side.

Get some Guerilla Tape. those tapes are stronger than duct tape.

Gaffer's tape is 26 bucks a roll. Stronger than duct tape, stickier, and no residue either :)
