I have read a few threads on replacing the illumination bulbs with radio shack replacements.

Does anyone know if the replacement is for the BH Heated mirrors is the same? I used a cruise activation bulb as a replacement. At first I thought the bulb was in series with the heating elements. But that it seams isn't the case. It looks like I need to pull the door panel and meter the heating elements pins.
