My '98 JDM BG GX - New Wheels and Coilovers

Hi, my name is Kristjan, I live in Reykjavik, Iceland. I have a Subaru addiction and have owned over 50 Subarus, but never an Impreza ;) Mostly Legacy and Loyale and one Forester.

Here we have the love of my life, my JDM '98 BG GX. Here is the extras and mod list and below you can watch the journey I've had with this lovely wagon.

- EJ25D @ 130k km / Newly freshened up with a new OEM seal and gasket kit and a Gates timing component kit
- High roof w/ Twin sunroofs
- Projector headlights and foglights w/amber fender blinkers.
- L7 grille
- Folding mirrors
- Doorcards with handles and auto closing windows
- Wood interior
- Flat side moldings
- Leatherinterior
- Digital climate control
- Stock with air suspension but with WRX Raceland Coilovers now
- OEM MoMo steering wheel
- 18x9.5 +35 Rotiform Nue wheels
- New paint
- 130.000km on the clock

Broke the deflector off and threw it in the garbage ;) Makes the car look much cleaner, also installed the Raceland Coilovers at this point and noticeably more stance to it

Rust fixing the rear fenders. I took two whole front fenders and cut out the bottom part and welded into my rear ones, so I also got a nice flare

Awesomesauce, thanks for the progress photos. I notice your car is LHD (EUDM, I presume) but you have several JDM style exterior bits. I am wondering specifically about your rear bumper, which had the JDM GT-B style lower lip. Was that stock on your vehicle for EUDM, or is that indeed a JDM rear bumper?

Since the EUDM cars are manufactured in Japan we get the JDM style extras. My GX came with all these parts stock from the factory ;) The GL 2.0 cars did not come with these extras ;) So the EUDM GX 2gens came with the JDM Bumpers ;)

I have not been able to find a case of factory power-folding mirrors for LHD BD/BG Legacies. I have a set that I am converting to LHD, but the conversion is a bit of a hack.

Mine are not power folding, just manual folding. As far as I know only the RHD GT-B ones came with the power folding ones ;)
