3rd generation legacy to outback headlight swap

i have recently acquired a 2000 Subaru outback.
I drive a 2001 Subaru legacy L wagon.
i want to swap the headlights but the headlights have two different connectors on them
i know that my leggy uses the 9004 connector
and the other connector is three circles all connected.

Anyone know what to use to convert them?

Use a voltmeter and figure out which wire is ground, lo and hi beam on both cars. label it and depin it and swap the connectors.

One note before you get confused. The lights are ground controlled. You'll have one positive wire, and two grounds. The positive wire feeds both lights, and the grounds determine which lights shine. You obviously need a complete circuit to get light, so if the ground is broken, the light is off. That's how these lights work. So don't look for two positive wires (one for each bulb) and a single ground, look for one positive wire, and two grounds (one leading away from each bulb on the GT lights). As for your stock light, you'll have to either take a multimeter to it, or you'll have to play trial and error, which was my method because I had no clue how the circuits worked at that time and was really confused.

So with the information about the two grounds and a single positive
Would I splice the wires to the new connector?

That's certainly an option. If you're worried about splicing the stock harness, you could always get something like this and cut it up instead:
