I saw this on my car today as I was tearing somethings down and realized that I have no idea what this wiring plug is for. Its the one directly above the ignitor. Does anybody know?

No idea... LOL. Shouldn't be that hard, typically if the harness has the plug, you can wire the rest, It might need a relay or something to that affect, but I think it would be doable.

hmmmm "makes mental note" I'll have to look into this more once I drop the new engine in and pass inspection lol to everyone that doesn't have inspection and emissions...

It may not. I'm not overly familiar with Subaru's heated windshield/mirrors, but wouldn't it go on when you turn on the rear defroster? It may just be ready to go with that control system in place.

There is generally a switch somewhere on the dash or center console, and a relay in a fuse box.. and of course the heated glass itself.
