Enter 2014. Winter. Timing belt skipped, 3 out of 4 pulleys locked up, tensioner leaked out all it's fluid. Down for 2 months.

Spring time. Thanks to a friend with an 04 STI, I got a set of struts with TEIN springs.
Before

After (Still a bit of lift in the rear. One side still had the OBW strut on. Had to cut the bolt a few days later.)

As awesome as that was, now I had a pretty bad rubbing problem with my 215/75R15.
Looking online at around midnight, I spot 4 Impreza wheels with tires, $40. Just down the street too!
Message the guy and at 1:30am I'm at his place picking them up. (For that price, one has a bent lip, and 4 bald tires)

The next day, they were installed. HUGE difference.

Between the wheels and now (2 months), nothing much happened.
A month ago, I decided to finish the paint job I started over a year ago.
A dozen cans of $4 rust paint later, it's done!.

We get to the now. Luckily for me, I had a friend who parted out an 02 WRX, so onto my hood the scoop went.
(Wish I had took pictures of the cutting)

Then I decided to do the roof black.

Update! Well the car has some problems. Idle issues, and fuel issues. I'll be replacing my fuel filter soon (AGAIN) since it seems to be the problem, then if that persists, I'll get the system tested. The idle issue HOPEFULLY will be resolved with a throttle body rebuild and valve/sensor cleanings.

For now I've started cleaning and re-upholstering the door cards. I've had a large roll of very stretchy almost silk looking material for a long while now, something I was gonna use to do fiber-glassing, but I never done anything with it. Perfect uses now. So far I've done the passenger front, and the driver front is in the living room for the night. The clean and fabric change makes a huge difference.

This is the rear, but it's what the front looked like when I started.

And the front.

The driver's card I'll be doing sometime tonight or tomorrow.

Hello! The difference in the overall look of stock and the new cards is wild! The bright color seems to breath new life in your OB... I was thinking of doing my cards (same ones) at some point, not sure about the direction though. Nice job! Did you finish em?

I finished 3, but ran out of adhesive. I'm gonna finish next month, along with try to do the headliner if I can find cheap material.

Did my dash. Lights very uneven, so I might try to put aluminum tape pr something in the back to reflect light more evenly.

Guess who now has a near complete interior. :P I still need all the side panels and carpets for the hatch, and the stereo bezel and cup holders, but it's almost done. Also getting a set of black leather seats and Burlwood steering wheel out of a 3rd gen Outback Limited.

I did that. Worked great. I put it on top of the cluster in the circled area.

Very quick update, my driver side fender is dented pretty bad, and paint is cracking, so I'm gonna strip and rust it. :)

You know the rest of us are trying desperately to AVOID rust.
