hey guys have you been following on the mighty car mods build? They have worked on tones of subarus and i use their videos alot for reference, since they have a couple of JDM machines there too.
Will just post up links to their videos, and i think this will be one epic build! Enjoy.

Me being an Aussie we get or can reasonably easily get the jdm goodies but im so jealous of the Baja, your gen 2 gt comes with a scoop and in black, outback sedans.

I love my 4th gen Outback sedan 3.0R. It may have the 5EAT but I find it not to be a bad tranny when compared to the 4EAT of my 2nd gen.

Shoot I hope you guys watched the little 5 minute first drive videp they posted after! That thing is quick! But the controller hidden in the jdm ac climate control is awesome too. God I hope they are at SEMA this year

Done :) It is too bad they jumped to 4th gen. I think that a tricked out 1st gen or even a 3rd gen would have been more stealthy than a factory turboed 4th gen.

As someone with a 2nd gen and a 4th gen. I understand 100% why they changed the shell. The 4th gen is much more composed, handles much better straight out of the box, is much more comfortable, and in my opinion is just a flat out better car. With that being said, I still love my 2nd gen too.

Now that they've changed to a different body everything is relatively new (relative to us on this forum, that is). I'm still interested in the build and the project, but the name is somewhat deceptive.

I think it comes down to cold, E85 trapping water and a rich tune. That said I had a poke around the car while he was talking about it on the cruise Aek mentioned earlier and he did say they had to swap out the block as it blew some ringlands so who knows haha

That ez36 looks like it's getting a little worse for wear.

The EZ36 was never really designed with boost in mind (very thin cylinder walls). It's really impressive what they're squeezing out of it with any shred of reliability.
