Hey yall, I got a couple of simple Q's

I have a totalled LGT. Its my parts car now with minor front end damage that is pretty much totalled, i tried to sell it but no bites. I also have a GF8 that im in the process of doing a jdm ej207 swap. The GF has a 5sp 3.9 trans. I want to use the LGT 4.11 trans but im having a hard time trying to find answers.

Is the BD LGT trans the exact same trans as the 2.5rs? I assumed because they are both 4.11.

Also anyone recommend a heavy duty clutch? I plan to run a lot of power with this ej207, cammed, 20g, 1000cc injectors etc. I dont beat on the trans and ive read it will hold as long as you dont go full retard, but i need a really good clutch....anyone have any experiance with some part numbers? thatd be a great help!

Thanks yall!

As long as you run both comparable FD ratios between tran and diff they will work. Wont say it will hold up.

Well I plan on using the whole lgt drive train except for a light weoght drive shaft. Isn't the Trans the same as the Rs tho?

And suggestions on a heavy clutch?

It should have the same final drive, google the transmission codes to see if the gear ratios are the same. I've seen some with different individual gears.

Technical they have a different 5th gear ratio. Plus 99+ are 8 bolt trans. Fit both ways . Clutch depends if you want a streetable pedal or not. Stage 1 / 2 organic clutch is still streetable. But as you go to ceramic puck clutches they tend to be a pain on the street to engage. Look on exedy website and see what you might like

Man, I'm sorry to hear that you've given up on the LGT. I wanted to make an offer, but I don't think you'd let it go for like, fifty bucks, and a bottle of Mtn. Dew... That's about all I could muster to offer.

So I mean I can buy a clutch for a Rs? It's the same?

And lol no worries no one really offered me what I had in mind. No harm no foul, it's guts will be used for good use!

All na ej 5mt subaru clutches are interchangeable. So you can use whatever clutch you prefer.
