buying advice 2003 Outback Sedan H6 3.0

So I am trying to figure out a way to get into a 2003 Outback Sedan H6 3.0 with 105k miles on it. Previous owner traded in on a new CRV. Looks like there are a lot of service records according to Carfax. Looks to be in good shape according to the pics the dealer has posted. I am wondering what kind of problems this car might have. I know the H6 is a good motor, what about the rest of the car?

any help would be appriceated.

well most common issues are bearings in the idler pulleys, cheap and easy fix. Oil leaks from valve cover gaskets once again new set of gaskets and couple hours of work nothing too difficult. Throttle position sensors seem to go bad around 130-150k miles.
Other than that just like any other subaru's check for torque bind, rust, overall condition.
you said there are a lot of service records, when i shop for a car if i see in carfax that car had a major service like "transmission serviced" every six month i would avoid buying it could be a bad apple or abusive owner, if there are records indicating service that is periodic and doesn't seem to be indication of a lemon or car abuse then its a go.

what I meant by that was the person who had it did oil changes every 3k. alignments on schedule, if the owners manual said for it to get done it got done and for most everything it was done at the dealer. from what I can tell from the carfax it was well maintained one owner car. also thank you for the advice. not sure 100% if I will be getting it or not just hope I can get the funds together in time.

Basically, what dodik said. Mine was a bit of a bad apple on account of the PO and suffered headgasket failure from a mismatched radiator cap but that could happen to any car. Other than that, it was a super comfortable car and epic road tripper. Just wasn't what I wanted at the moment.

Now, I only drove it for maybe ten minutes, but it still seems plenty fantastic to me... Dem seats... *luuuust*
