Anyone know the formula to get power to weight ratios??

but seriously i find it easy when it's expressed as xx lbs per HP.


so like my BD.... 3090lbs (curb weight) / 165 HP (at teh crank) = 18.7 lbs per HP.

That's what I needed! So mine is 3090/ 117whp is 26.4 :shock: Wow thats bad, Thanks Gil.

well, it's a matter of 6 and a half-dozen. personal preference, really.

i like it better cos it immediately tells my how how much mass i'm trying to move with each HP.

power to weight has been the benchmark i've been looking at when deciding on mods for the BD....

I've always wanted a 10lb/hp at the crank which is why the STi engine always seemed like such a sweet swap...300hp/3000lbs! YEAH!!!! easy said.....

I don't even know why 10lb/hp seemed so sweet..i think that's what it was for this Porsche or Vette....I can't remember.......anyhooo......
