Hi Guys! Here's my Subaru Legacy.
https://sl-i.net/FORUM/images/imported/2014/08/DSC_5670-1.jpg
A short background of this ride. Dad got this one brand new in 1996 and it was only used as a weekend car or a spare car, through the years it only accumulated about 22,000km on it's 10th year. On the 10th year which is year 2006, I graduated from highschool and this Leggy was pass down to me by my dad. Alot of things to be repair such as caskets, power steering pumps, alternator etc including the expired tires that came with it in 1996.
This how it looks like when I got it...

That is one sharp car. It's nice to see these cars stay in the family.
The Zero/Sports splitter directs air over a top mount intercooler more evenly than stock, I believe. It's a nice item to have, and kind of rare, I think.

Yea, one thing that stoping me to sell this ride is the rarerity of this Legacy sedan here in Philippines. If not all or most of them are Legacy Wagon. Haven't seen anyone driving a sedan here, it's an imported Legacy original left hand drive with JDM specs (engine, wiring etc)
Now I know the purpose of the zero sports splitter, thanks!

Looks good. Too bad I didn't see any legacy's when I went back to PI several months ago, then again I was mostly up north. Didn't really stay long in manila

Probably it's a lot lesser in the north specially for the older model of Legacy's since it was not marketed very well before, until Motorimage the official distributor in Southeast Asia came in to Philippines that brought the Subaru dealership. These days there are many new models of Legacy, here are some of the photo of our group.

Done with the swap after almost 3months, majority of the time was dedicated to the harness every single wire was check and remold.
Today it was running wild, since there was no midpipe installed yet. Here's a shot from today thou we still have to finalize the wiring for the gauge and some adjustments.

What a cool wee car! Love seeing these stories of family cars getting a second wind.
I saw your sppedometer and thought: "STi KM/Hs. they're like regular KM/Hs, only pinker and much more fun."

Getting frustrated to run this gauge, everything are good and running except for the speedo. Done several swapping, but still doesn't help. I tried using the SF gauge and the speedometer runs smoothly with no problem. The left gauge is from Japan and the right one is the stock gauge, you'll clearly see the difference and that made me change to a JDM gauge.

I then tried to use an OBD it reads the speed perfectly

I'm running on a Subaru SF turbo tranny and harness, the speed sensor I use is also from SF. Anyone knows how I can make the speedo run?

Test fitting a custom hoodscoop for my subie yesterday, still undecided on what to get and to use whether a body color or carbon fiber scoop... Here's a photo of it, what you think? I like peanut eye scoop but it's too big and wild

Pivot speed cutter arrived yesterday from Japan, since my speedo is not yet working I'll use this as my speedo and at the same time remove the 180km/h speed limiter on my subie.

I'm having my new custom rear skirt since I can't find any rear skirt for my legacy. It will be finish together with the new Liberal hood scoop.

I also got new shoes, it's a 5x100 BBS forged mags in Advan Neova AD08 tires, got this one instead of Bridgeston RE002
https://sl-i.net/FORUM/images/imported/2014/10/IMG_3201-1.jpg
the Pivot speed cut works well, I ran the car about 230km/h on our highway.

Hi Guys,
Was looking for an exhaust details regarding Legacy and decided to have a quick update also on this thread. I stop modding my car for about 5 years already, the last one I had was a sound quality setup since I was using it for my daily before I switch to a suv.
Anyway, this pandemic brought to a work from home situation and had lots of time in front of my laptop searching for stuff. Will be doing a simple mod for intake, cusco strut and braces. Having hard time looking for a JDM midpipe for BD body mostly BG and only 60mm diameter.
Just found out also that Subaru Legacy International group page exist in Facebook. :) Good stuff
