After 2 LONG years, it's time to start bodywork on my GT. I have a used fender that is FLAWLESS. It should be stripped and primed this weekend. I just need to find time to take the whole front end apart to switch the fender. The doors will be replaced soon enough. Car won't be painted till next year. I still haven't found a place that I trust to do the body work

If it's a new part, pretty much any decent place can paint it to match. The black granite pearl is one of the most expensive paints though...I should know.
Collision or restoration is where you need a shop that REALLY knows.

I have a few more places I need to check out. Not many places in this area have spray boths and or ovens.

I did another coat of primer yesterday. I wanted to put it on this weekend if I don't go to NH for the NOPI event at New England Dragway. Looks like I have to remove the bumper to switch the fender. Has anyone here done this before? After the lights and grill comes out how much time will it take to pop off the bumper?

The fender is on! Took almost 2 hours, cousin came by to help and brought beers. I think if I worked straight through I could have done it in 1 1/2 hours at most. Being the first time I've done this to a Legacy. All I need are 2 doors and body work. I'll let the body shop take care of that crap.
