I have a 2000 legacy wagon, and I have just painted my rims, thus I don't want to get rid of them so what are the biggest calipers I can run with my 16's?

If you can get Subaru 4-pots, you should be able to use those. But thats only a guess.

The Z32 ones I just put on my car definitely will not work though. LOL

The GC8/06-07 WRX 4POT calipers fit and cleared with my 04 Outback 16" wheels... but they did not clear my 17" XV wheels without 10mm+ spacers. Wheel diameter does not mean anything, it is all about the shape of the spokes.

They are stock subi rims. but where do I measure or what do I measure to find out, and how big are your four pots?

The most you can fit on your stock snowflakes are wrx front brakes. You can't use fhi 4 pots without a spacer.
