DTC light?????????

underneith my instument panel i noticed 2 green connectors and didnt know if they should be plugged in so i did and the check engine light flashed and unplugged it and it went away...is this just a way to check if it works?

They're diagnostic connectors used at the factory. If I recall correctly, they're connected when they leave the factory, but are supposed to be disconnected. Part of the "pre-delivery inspection" at the dealership is disconnecting them.

Leave them unplugged and forget about them.
