I have a 2011 Legacy 3.6 with the E36 engine and I am trying to find out what performance mods are available to increase power. Does anyone have advice on what my best options are? I live in Toronto Canada.

Not a common engine, so I doubt there are many bolt-on parts available for it. Most of what I hear people doing is custom fabricated supercharging/turbocharging. I'm sure with a bigger motor like that, a good exhaust system can't hurt.
For reference, the engine code is actually EZ36R.

Mighty Car Mods has video's on youtube of how they turbocharged their EZ36 and got their legacy wagon into the 11's with it. Not a bad set of video's, especially if you're looking to go that route.

EDIT: I completely agree with the guy above me. WATCH the MCM videos! You want to see the "gramps build" - it's epic.

None of what MCM did, I would ever consider "bolt-on".. but it is an impressive build to say the least.
And, not to nit-pick you there Mark.. but the engine code is actually EZ36D. Subaru never used the "R" designation anywhere except in the trim badge of the car.

Ah, good call rkrenicki.
The EZ30 with AVCS was the EZ30R, correct?

There is no EZ30R.

Right, the EZ30D "Phase 2".
Since Americans are afraid to post VINs for some reason I was unable to find a North American VIN sticker, so I found a picture of a Japanese BPE VIN plate, you can see it says EZ30D

US got rid of those nice little plates, or at least I can't find mine as its not in the normal spot near the struts.
Here is the sticker on the passenger door on my 2006 Outback Sedan 3.0R LL Bean Edition.

Ah, so it was a trim all along. Thanks for the lesson!
