Hey, my name is Steve and I'm new to sli, I drive a 1997 Legacy L wagon and I love everything about my car, I have put a lot of time and money into it to make it what I want it to be, she's got 182k miles and still running strong 2.2l 5-speed

This is what she looks like today:

Thanks, I'm trying to find either an off road bumper or maybe even an outback bumper, just something different

The outback bumper really does make the car look good, did you have to paint it or did you find it that color, all I have been able to find are the ones that are tan/gray

They're all gonna be that color, because of the two-tone on the Outback.

So where could I find paint to match my car?

Probably the best move would be to get an Outback bumper, and take it to a shop to be professionally painted. But if your car's paint is rough, and you don't have the money/care to get it done that good (As in, the bumper will look way better than the rest of the car,) NAPA often can mix up spray cans of paint matched to your car, if you have the paint code.

I bought the bumper complete with the fogs for $100. The pigtails were about a foot long so I knew there would be no issue getting them hooked up to my existing fog light wiring. I went to my local Maaco and talked the dude into a cash deal to paint it and install it in two visits. I dropped off the bumper,he called me and I came to see that it was up to my standards because he had no idea why I wanted to paint it all one color and not leave the black part alone in the center of the grille. So I was cool with the paint, dropped it off one morning and picked it up after work and for $300 for paint and install cash you can't beat it for what it does to the look of your car. :smt023
