$169.95 coil over kit?

No every where else I have looked coil overs have cost around a thousand dollars. How can this only be $1695.95?
The only thing I can guess is that they are crappy coil overs. What do you all think?

the site has really low prices i payed almost $400 for my LED underglow and they are selling LED underglow for $79.

Do not even lay hands on those coilovers. They are extremely low quality springs, and even worse other parts. They bounce as you drive down the highway, I'm not even joking. A kid showed up to ECB in his civic with those one time, and I laughed about it the whole time.

Don't waste your time on a set of coilovers that cost less than 1000 bucks IMO

i agree with sheepdog on this one. i had found this exact setup a while back and thought it would be cool, but after thinking about, realized it would be a bad idea. Think about it. Your susupenion is a very vital part to your car and the way your able to control it. Maybe its just me, but i felt really uneasy putting in a coilover set thats only $170 when springs alone for a car are 250-300. Dont do it. you'll be thankful you didnt. Plus im sure sheepdog could find you a great coilover set for you car.

KYB GR2 struts and H&R springs, my Legacy looks alot better now. I didn't pay over $400, you may pay close to $500.

sounded like you were considering buying these, even though two people pointed out that those coils were cheaply made.

If you want the best bang for buck, you don't even consider poorly made parts, regardless of your meagre budget.

Anyways, I can get you a set of D2 coilovers for around 1300 I think, but I'd have to order them and I dont know how long that would take. I'd have to call if you were interested.

Well thanks for the offer but I think I will have to go the route of lowering springs and shocks. If you think you can get a good deal I would be interested.

i had looked at those coilovers and the price on that web site and figured how good could they possibly be for an 1/8 the price everywhere else.i eveyually went with B+G sportline springs w/ KYB GR2 struts from www.shox.com (http://www.shox.com) .they ran me about 500$ and im happy with em.

most of those "coilovers" that I've seen are really just cheap struts/shocks that are mocked up to look like coilovers.

That is a pretty good deal for those coilovers if I remember correctly. Either way, for all you are wanting springs and shocks will do just fine.

I've done a few HPDEs in my DD with Tiens and softer springs.

I've had the previous combos:

1. AGX+Eibachs
2. AGX+Custom hi-rate springs
3. GR2s+Eibachs

And I would never go back now that I have softer rate springs on my Teins. You dont realize how sub-standard the strut/spring is until you've tried them all.
