So I just got my renewal from the WA DOL and they say I need new plates. They have to be replaced every 7 Years for "reflectivity" failure. It's a total racket, but what ever.

I have never had a car with "Vanity Plates" and I'm thinking about it this year. They will charge me the same price to get my old plate number anyway and the new plates with the crappy number with be $20 either way.

So what should I get? I dont have many ideas other then a handful... Max of 7 numbers/letters.
"WTLITNG" -White Lightning name I gave my car....
"BD9" -self explanatory.
"USDMGT" -meh...
"RSCLONE" -I've been making it a USDM version of an RS in Japan...
"SLOWGT" -It's slow as hell... :smt005

You guys have any more ideas? I have till October to come up with one.

This is the car...

Reflectablty is not a "racket"-I deal with it every day with state inspections-it is a failure in this state if your plate does not reflect light-I see plates that are 30 years old! They said it's too expensive to replace all the old plates-yea, right-when states like yours that are twice as big can do it every seven years! We only can have six letters on our vanity plates and we can't "co-mingle" letters and numbers-so even less options at $85 a year-just went up!

We just got bumped up to 7 letters here.

Hey, someone had an SLI-WGN a while back... What about SLI-SDN or SLI-BD or something?

Makes sence, outdoor reflective has a 5-7 year life span.

I have plates from 1972 that still reflect pretty damn good! Anyway, I think it's bull sh!t. It's nothing but more money for our state to waste. But... The main subject here is a vanity plate...

Since it was in CA, and it's no longer a whole car, I was debating going for the SLI-WGN one here in Connecticut. But not until my car's cleaned up a bit more, to properly represent.
