Hello everyone!
I’ve been reading SLi for over a year and have learned quite a lot so thanks! Picked up a ’97 Legacy L wagon (124K miles) this summer to go along with my ’96 Outback (201K). I’m planning on setting up the ’97 for occassional lapping days at High Plains Raceway east of Denver. No money for an engine swap so suspension mods and reducing weight will be my focus. Already broke that rule by replacing my 14” steelies with 17” BBS RK rims with BFG Comp-2s. Ended up adding 30 pounds but oh well, they look nice. Even so, it’s down 100 pounds as of now.https://sl-i.net/FORUM/images/imported/2014/09/DSCN5902_zpsbd71b368-1.jpghttps://sl-i.net/FORUM/images/imported/2014/09/DSCN6258_zps74a75856-1.jpg

Thanks! They are hard to get in and out of but fairly comfortable. My wife no longer complains about my cornering so worth every penny. I did have to shim up the seat front to get a good driving position as they don't recline.

Thanks WPEC! Yeah, money is the key. I had to buy the seats in three easy payments. Drivers side, then brackets, then passenger side. Saving up now to get at least a start on the suspension.
