Hi all, just popping in from England to introduce myself.

Legacy ownership started about 10 years ago with a Gen 2 GTB. Kept the engine pretty standard and carried out various exterior modifications using pain in the ass to find JDM aftermarket parts.

I rather stupidly sold the car, as I had an itch for an Impreza. Scratched that with a V2 Type RA. Great car, but was always missing some character.

I then lost my mind and bought a 7 series BMW. Dont ask.

Anywho... About 3 years ago I ended up back in the Legacy game, this time a Gen 3 GTB. Converted to single turbo, rebuilt engine. Again, I then got to work on the exterior.

Unfortunately, the car had rocket-ship mileage, which showed on the chassis. Underneath was rotting badly, and I was left with a decision... Spend alot of cash sorting it, or break the car and start again.
I managed to find a rolling shell B4 RSK going cheap, so took the plunge. Kept the engine and anything I could swap over, and sold everything else.

So this is where i'm at today. Low mileage B4 RSK running the single turbo engine and a few mods.

Thanks guys.

VOD is a pain, and one of the reasons for going single turbo. Moving the restrictor in the black box (cant remember which line now), giving them a clean out and a Zersports Sequential controller ehlped alot, but it was always there, waiting, ready to catch me out!

That is very interesting! I'm leaving my car TT, but only because there are just not many here in the states. Any tuning you could help me with to kill the VoD would be awesome!

It's been a few years since i've had a TT, but here's a few tips:

1. Replace all the vacuum hoses inside the solenoid box with silicone ones. Be careful to label the hoses and get the lengths/locations as they should be.
2. Line 2 has a restrictor pill. Be sure to replace this. Some people have noticed an improvement by moving the pill closer to the solenoid within the vacuum pipe.
3. Clean out the solenoids themselves. Best method is pressurised air (not too powerful), some use carb or brake cleaner.

There have been other tweeks, but that was after my time in TT ownership. There's ALOT of info on the UK Legacy forums (Sorry, not trying to pimp another forum on here!) as importing for us is a hell of alot easier, there's alot of knowledge on there.
