Just wanted to give a quick hello from Colorado.
I picked up an 01 Outback 5MT to go with my 02 Impreza OBS and 08 Forester Sports XT and make a full Subaru set (I refuse to acknowledge the Tribeca, and the BRZ/XV are too new for me to own yet).
The Forester is going the lowered street machine route. The OBS is going the high off-road machine route. (see my signature for links to those build threads) The OB will be the stock height (ish) reliable, fun comfort driver workhorse.
I picked it up about a month ago and it is brilliant. I can't believe how much cargo space is in it!
Well, anyways, I'll start a journal here in the next day or two to keep track of me doing my best to not go over board with mods. The current plan is to bring it up to Limited trim level and a few other minor things, we'll see how well that all goes (already thinking about cams and a 5th gear swap, :roll: ).
Short list of what I've done so far in the first month:
Quick port and polish of the stock headers
Skid plate
IACV clean
Drive shaft swap
Exhaust reseal
Glove Box/Lower Dash trim replacement
Rear Defroster grid repair
