I have a 1997 Subaru Legacy Outback, and after changing the filler neck, the car still smells of gas and has the occasional puddle under it. I have a replacement tank, and want to know roughly how long it will take to exchange the tank.

where exactly is the puddle?

have u checked ur canister assembly?

Have you checked the fuel sender seals under the inspection panels? Dropping the tank is kind of a pain. Figure on it being at least a 2 hour job
