SOHC to DOHC?

So Lucy is in the shop cuz im a stupid teenager and did 120 in a station wagon. She might have a blown head so i was thinking about swapping the stock SOHC heads over to DOHC heads off of an EJ255. Has anyone done this? Will it work? Again, im young and dumb, so go easy on me. And yes I am hella stoked i got her up to 120. :smt005

You can't just slap on DOHC heads and have it work. Wiring, sensors, etc are different for different heads, so you'd need to do some wiring & such. Turbo heads would also reduce compression ratio and hurt performance on a non-turbo engine.

Plus arent the SOHC pistons are probably only cut for two valves, not four. Obviously i didnt think this through...

SOHC and DOHC both have 4 valves per cylinder.
