Hey guys so I'm wondering if I should get 3" piping just for fun and sound. I have headers and and eBay muffler. The guy said it'll sound like shit.... And I don't know.... Help.

3" is too big for an NA engine, it won't help anything. 2.5" is as big as I would go, and that is only if you have done some other work up front, intakes, headers, high flow cat etc.

The ScoobySport axle back is 2.5" and something like that with the Ebay UEL headers will make the boxer rumble you are looking for.

I have a 2.5" exhaust header back. I have cams and pretty much everything else you can do besides boost. 3" would be too big, Your torque will be nonexistent.

Agreed - if you're stock otherwise, 2.25" would be the max I would go - 2.5" is really only for built N/A engines with cams, PnP, and other supporting mods. The real restriction is usually in your heads before it's in your exhaust at 2 1/4 inches.

Would 3" axle back ok to use on N/A?
