LGT Kirby's NEW 97 LGT Wagon - 1/13 - WRX 4/2 pots now ON!

Hello to all my fellow SL-I members. It has been 2 years since I have owned a Legacy, and I can honestly say I've missed it.

Here is my first 97 LGT.

The girlfriend needed a new car, so she bought my Impreza. I managed to pick up a gem for a good deal..

She is a little dirty at the moment, but a good detail will be done in the near future. Already did the interior. Yuck.
-200k on the clock
-Recent engine overhaul
-5 speed (shifts great, makes throwout noise)
-Recent clutch and flywheel
-Keyless entry

Current mod list:
-06/07 WRX red 4/2 pot brakes with Kartboy adapters in the rear. (was not satisfied with this product)
-Stainless steel front and rear brake lines.
-06/07 WRX wagon springs/struts with saggy butt spacers in the rear
-01 2.5RS 6 spokes with Bridgestone Potenzas

A few things I have found out wrong with the car include the following:
-Passenger front door will not open from the outside, inside handle works.
-Front left ABS ring is missing 1/4 chunk. Pulled the ABS fuse for the time being to fix pulsating pedal due to improper measurements from the ABS sensor itself.
-Front right hub has 1 messed up wheel bolt
-Rear cargo cover is missing 1 of the 2 clips that are used to lock into car when pulled out
-Missing return spring for the shifter, so its sloppy.

Here are some photos from when I did the 4/2 pots and stainless lines. The Kartboy adapters did not fit properly. Which was really weird as I had them already installed on a different car no issues. They were roughly 1/4" off on both sides on the LGT wagon. I had to file down the metal a bit to get it to lay flat and proper. A couple coats of Rust Stop black paint to clean it up and protect it. And tada!

Not a bad project. Pretty straight forward, even with the minor mods to make it all work. Propane heater saved me, it was getting chilly out there!

So this Sunday's project was simple and much needed. I bought a $10 headlight restore kit from NAPA and pulled my head lights and fog lights off the car. Sat in my living room, drank a few beers and watched the NFC championship game. GO HAWKS!

Anyways, here is the end result, and the 85W Hella yellow fog light bulbs. The pic does no justice of how much better the lenses are now.

I will get a night pic soon. They are yellow, but nothing as vibrant as they were in my old GT with the JDM fogs.

Light output from cleaning the lenses and putting in the 85w yellow bulbs. My impressions: Yes they are brighter, however not as yellow as I was hoping. They will look great in the JDM fogs, whenever I manage to get them.

Also as you can notice I plasti dipped my grille as well. The chrome was nasty and flaking off. It looks better and works for the time being.

Sorry about the dirty car. It just snowed the other day and well, yeah.

Also did some work on the roof rack paint peeling. Just plasti dipped it for now, and atleast it isn't an eye sore until I can properly refinish it.

Went out and took some photos after a much needed bath. Finally cleaned the door jams, and I didn't do it on the initial clean up. Looks so much better!

Missed a spot or two.. Damn black cars. Haha. She sure cleans up for 200k.

Its almost looking like your first legacy! Are you planning to tint it?

Yeah I really need to get the tint done. I was quoted $140 to do all of it, 35% in the front and 20% the rest.
